This is Miss Hamm's fifth year as an elementary teacher. For the past 3 years, she served as the AIG (Gifted) Specialist for Pittsboro Elementary. Prior to this, Miss Hamm was a fourth grade teacher in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. A graduate to East Carolina, Miss Hamm received a BS in Elementary Education in 2004 and MAEd in Reading Education in 2006. As an advocate of all children in public school classrooms, Miss Hamm is interested in differentiating instruction for all learners, school-wide instructional programs, collaborating with colleagues, and instilling a love for learning. Outside of the classroom, there's a good chance you will find her at a game. Whether, the Pirates, TarHeels, Panthers, or Northwood Chargers, Miss Hamm loves sports. She also enjoys being on the water, snow skiing, shagging & beach music, sushi, HGTV, sweet tea with lemon, and traveling around the fabulous state of North Carolina.
